The combination of rhinoresistometry and acoustic rhinometry not only objectifies the degree of nasal obstruction but also differentiates its causes (narrowing due to edema or cartilage deformity, pathologic nasal valve inspiratory collapse, and pathologic turbulence). The direct connection of the mask and the highly sensitive sensor gives an accurate result of the study.Bacterial filter ensures the cleanliness of the measuring device.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> <em><strong>Rhinoresistometry<\/strong><\/em> is a further development of rhinomanometry, based on the laws of hydrodynamics.The program calculates relevant values of parameters based on the physical laws of flow dynamics from the data of anterior active rhinomanometry, such as pressure drop between the nostrils and the choana and flow velocity. This method is called rhinoresistometry.
