Extensive ventilation options
The Dameca AX500 provides a wide range of ventilation options, enabling the system to be used for both neonatal and adult patients. In addition to Pressure Controlled Ventilation (PCV) and Volume Controlled Ventilation (VCV), the Dameca AX500 features Synchronized Intermittent Forced Ventilation (SIMV), two supported ventilation modes (VSV, PSV) and Pressure Regulated Ventilation (PRVT) for pediatric use. The CO2 absorber can be disconnected and replaced during use without disrupting the procedure. It also features an integrated gas skimming system (AGSS), a unique fresh gas entry point that supports rapid gas concentration changes and automatic leak compensation.

The compact vertical IBS combines an ascending mech, CO2 absorber and breathing system in one device. A mechanical lock secures the IBS to the anesthesia machine, which means there is no tubing between the two systems. The tall and slim design of the mech supports fresh gas flow settings and allows for easy and quick identification of even the smallest leaks.
