E-LINK is a computer module that provides:
-Computerized standardized assessment of upper and lower extremity activity, including grip strength, range of motion, and balance assessment; -A progress report of long-term scientific data collection that can be exported for statistical analysis; -Computer-controlled exercises to achieve treatment goals and maximize patient encouragement to practice. Even when there is no visible limb movement, the visual stimulus on each exercise provides an immediate biological link that informs the patient of the moment of physical muscle activation. This, in turn, encourages patients to focus on efficient and coordinated movements in order to achieve good limb control. The system’s sensors provide high sensitivity and signal quality, making it possible to detect even as minimal as 3-4 microvolts of electrical activity..
