After adjusting the height of the digital detector to the height of the patient, and pressing the “GO” knob, the X-ray tube moves into position to the center of the detector. Optional motorized movement of the wall stand is available. Once the correct position is taken, exposures can be made.
Optional touch screen monitor on the side of the X-ray tube is used for mode selection. Preview is available within seconds, the processed image can be sent to any suitable workstation in the hospital network, or elsewhere.

X-ray generator
High-frequency X-ray generator provides high performance and reliability. Flexible generator power selection including single-phase energy storage up to 80 kW, and interface options such as ACE control, high speed starter, interlocking for safety and more. Standard for the system is the three-phase MS APEX 650 HF STR 50 kW generator with microprocessor control and single tube PC connection.
