Thanks to the financial support of the Government of Japan and the international organization UNOPS, a project was successfully implemented in Ukraine for Military Medical Clinical Center of the Western Region (Lviv), which allowed to expand the technical base of the clinic with a premium digital X-ray system GXR-52SD manufactured by DRGEM, South Korea.
High-quality and timely diagnosis is the key to successful and effective treatment, so it is difficult to imagine a modern medical and diagnostic institution without a digital X-ray machine.
The GXR-52SD system will provide high throughput in the X-ray room and minimize radiation exposure, which is very important for the health of patients and medical staff.
Among the technical characteristics of the X-ray device GXR-52SD, which was received by the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Western Region, we would like to note such parameters:
High-frequency generator with a capacity of 52 kW.
– 2 CsI digital flat panel detectors, which allow obtaining high quality images with high clinical accuracy. This eliminates the need to move the detectors for different examinations and as a result eliminates the risks associated with damage to the detectors during movement.
– Precise and efficient dose control: automatic collimator, automatic exposure control (AEC), radiation dose measuring device (DAP).
– Synchronized control function of the radiographic bench and automatic collimator.
– The DICOM 3.0 network interface provides Worklist, Print, Storage and request for integration with PACS or RIS systems.
Improved workflow:
Motorized vertical synchronization between tube and table, tube and vertical stand. This reduces patient positioning time and as a result increases the throughput of the room.
Patient table with variable height and floating deck (PBT-6).
Various methods of system control (PC operation, LCD touch screen, remote control, switch button on the collimator).
Availability of 1280 anatomical programs (APR), which are easily customizable by the user using the utility software.
Software: multi-image viewing function, comparison of two images for best image quality, 9 preset anatomical programs for images, EI (exposure index) using object segmentation.
The GXR-52SD X-ray machine covers all clinical applications, providing superior image quality, reliability, workflow optimization and confidence in ROI.
It should also be noted that this equipment is of particular relevance due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as one of the main diagnostic methods for suspected coronavirus infection is chest radiography (CRC).
