L300 Functional Electrical Stimulation System

Today we want to share with you the achievements of a little patient of the Kiev City Center for Rehabilitation of Children with Disabilities in the individual rehabilitation program of which the L 300 system is successfully used. Functional electrostimulation system L 300 manufactured by Bioness Inc. (USA), which is able to produce tangible improvement of mobility in people with foot drop, knee instability, weakness of muscles of the lower extremities, which have arisen as a result of injury or disease. The advantages of the L 300 are: – 3D motion detection thanks to the integrated 3-axis gyroscope and accelerometer. This allows you to detect the walking phase and trigger stimulation when needed; – multi-channel stimulation that helps the specialist optimize the patient’s walking dynamics quickly and efficiently; – intuitive setup greatly reduces setup time and increases the productivity of each session; – Availability of integrated outcome indicators; – The ability to use at home through an app. The L 300 system makes it possible: – to prevent muscular dystrophy; – maintain or increase the range of motion of the affected limb; – Change pathologic foot placement by retraining the muscles; – to gain confidence and independence; –  reduce falls and injuries.
