The optimal planning system (TPS) for brachytherapy of cancers of various localizations with a modern user interface and advanced functionality for an efficient and fast treatment planning process. With fast and accurate image fusion and registration, you can obtain various image datasets, including ultrasound image fusion for real-time online prostate brachytherapy planning. The Prostate Module add-on module is required for real-time prostate treatment planning and is fully integrated into the existing SagiPlan® treatment planning system. The prostate module uses transverse or longitudinal ultrasound images for online planning. The SagiPlan® treatment planning system is optimal for focal therapy due to its ability to perform real-time automatic ultrasound and isodose matching and dose-volume histogram calculation. The needle positioning system provides easy needle detection by automatically recognizing the angle and tracking its position.

User Settings

SagiPlan is a very user-friendly and intuitive treatment planning system. Users can customize the system according to their preferences and save them as custom defaults. In addition, the dashboard, screen layouts, treatment and reporting options are customizable and can be saved and then used at any point in the planning process.

Template treatment plans

Treatment Defaults

Dose-volume histograms

Dose-volume histograms are available in natural, differential, and cumulative views. These plots as well as the histogram parameter window are updated in real time during the planning process. Values for different histogram parameters are displayed in different colors to show compliance with pre-defined scheduling goals. Applicator volumes can be included or excluded from histograms and dose volume calculations. These features allow for quick and accurate plan evaluation.

Multiple Plan Comparison

SagiPlan® provides multi-parameter dose-volume plan comparison with a synchronized dose-volume image on the display. DVH parameters can be presented and analyzed simultaneously for up to four plans.

Unique ability to calculate BED and EQD2

The SagiPlan® treatment planning system is the only system that can calculate the biologically effective dose (BED) and equivalent dose at 2 Gy fractionation mode (EQD2) for any volume of structures or points selected by the user. The ability to set specific α/β ratio values allows for easy evaluation of combined treatment with HDR brachytherapy and remote radiation therapy. Calculations are based on individually defined α/β ratios for different control points for both remote radiation therapy and fractionated HDR brachytherapy.

Three-Dimensional Visualization

Three-Dimensional Visualization allows you to view the complete application setup with applicators, isodose clouds, surface doses, volumes of interest, and anatomical structures. A customizable 3D view is available throughout the planning process.
